Good Crusty Bread..
A few light slices of Prosciutto di Parma..
Some sun dried Tomato and fresh Basil...
Bit of Olive oil and balsmic and oil..

Some old woman in NYC made me this sandwich in NYC..
As much as I think olive oil is over hype..
Best sandwich (hero) I ever had..

It was like...the salty somewhat gamy taste of the Parma was just sooo...complimented with the other flavors..

I just invented this sandwich today and it is soooo good:

On a hoagie roll, or baguette,

on one side: smear cream cheese, then take sundried tomatoes in oil, dice them up, and smear them on top of the cream cheese.

then take a grilled chicken breast that has been marinated in italian seasonings and balsamic vinegar, and slice it into thin pieces lengthwise (you could put it on the sandwich hot or cold).

lay the chicken slices on the sundried tomato/cream cheese mixture.

Then put slices of avocado on top of the chicken.

Eat.

I think next time I will add a slice of bacon.

In a 1/4 Apicella's italian loaf (local italian bakery that makes bread every day at 4AM and delivers to supermarkets daily before 8AM - sometimes it's still warm from the oven), in layers:

mortadella
hot cappicola
genoa salami
deli-sliced pepperoni
baked ham
(above, all sliced thin)
provolone cheese
TOAST all the above, open-face

then add:
hot pepper relish
anchovies (just enough so that each bite has a tiny nibble - maybe 4 total)
raw green pepper strips
tomato
shredded lettuce
oregano
salt/pepper
oil/red vinegar
