Did you noticed that when you chop your tomatoes you have a big juicy mess all over your chopping board?
Just cut your tomatoes in 4 wedges, place in a cup or bowl and cut them in smaller chunks using... kitchen scissors. Work directly over the cup/bowl.

Kitchen scissors have many more uses: to cut pizza, mince herbs etc.

My daughter has used our kitchen sheers as wire cutters, pruning shears etc. We try to hide them when she comes around. Yeah hate wasting the tomato innards! Thanks for the tip Elnina.

I never thought of using them for tomatoes, but I do use our kitchen shears for all kinds of things, yes, including cutting pizza and always for herbs.
