That question is so general... which makes it difficult for me to answer. I've eaten at everything from the mainstream lowend fast food restaurants like TGIF to the Masa on Columbus in NYC. I wouldn't be able to list them all.
Everything from 1 star restaurants to 5 star restaurants.
Everything from American Cuisine to Ethiopian cuisine.
Everything from fast food, to full service, to buffets.
Nope, non of those around here! We have some Hawaiian restaurants though, which serve ahi (fish) and laulau which is sort of a hot dish/food. Meat wrapped in taro and banana leaves and baked in an underground oven. Is that close enough to hot dish to count? They have haupia, too, which is a coconut pudding and very tasty.
Are there actually Minnesotan restaurants outside of Minnesota?

There are a couple choices up there I've never heard of and have no idea about. But generally...most of them. I live in a place with a lot of variety, but I've never been to Minnesota.
We don't have much of a variety around here, just a really good diner, some regular, privately owned "family" type restaurants that have good home style cooking, a Chinese restaurant that has a pretty good buffet, and an Italian restaurant that specializes in pizza and calzones.
My preferred food option, though, is Pennsylvania Dutch. I have to go to Lancaster County for that.
I have eaten in very nice steakhouses like Peter Lugers, Rothman's Tellers Chop House, 21 main, and Mortons of Chicago. I ate in a French restaurant once in NYC called Cafe D'artiste, many Italian places and my favorite is Vespa in Great neck NY. I have been to peking duck house in NYC's China Town and a few Japanese/Sushi places on LI. I don't care too much for Chain restaurants. LI also has some great Diners as well. For German food I have been to Koenigs, Zumstamtisch, pumpernickles. I must say NYC, LI have a lot of great restaurants. Many choices on LI, queens, brooklyn, NYC. I could list more but I'll stop here. I like to go out to good restaurants. My next stop is rare 650 steakhouse in Syosset. Hopefully in 2 weeks we can go.
By "ever", do you mean in my life, or in the past 30 or 40 years, or what? Do the ethnic listings mean only in the USA, or in those countries, too?
