Anyone know if there is ANY COMPANY WHO MAKES "M&Ms" (BESIDES MARS)

In 2000 they ruined thier candy..... I used to love m&ms,Milky ways,3 muskeeters,etc......

IN 2000 THEY WERE ALL CHANGED FROM USING MILK TO USING "SKIM MILK/MILKFAT" and they taste like crap!!!!!!! (@ least to me)

I have luckily found a sort of replacement for them a few years ago in PLANTERS "Nut and Chocolate Trail Mix" -- Those ARE MADE WITH REG MILK (As m&ms used to be AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!) trouble is they cost so much sometimes its not worth it.... (Yesterday I paid 2.79 per bag (I only had enough for 2))

Anyone know of ANYONE ELSE who makes "m&ms" and are made with reg milk?

Check out Smarties, made by Nestle in Canada.
They're definitely superior to M&Ms, down to the chocolate.

ive noticed that ive never seen m&m type candies made by another brand or cheaper version type brand. i figured it must be expensive to make them as good as mars.

i dont really eat regular m&m's, i prefer the peanut. but we get them now for my daughter and the chocolate isnt very good.

I had some store brand copycat M&Ms once, called Choc-o-dots and they tasted awful. I love M&Ms and have an awesome cookie recipe that is loaded with them.

One year for christmas my mom bought DH and I candy canes filled with bogus M&M's. Tasted them and they tasted like wax. Turns out they were made in Mexico. I told her not to buy them anymore.

Smarties - show YOUR colours
Are smarties not known in the US?

Smarties always remind me of childhood. I actually preferred M'n'M's for some reason, but moreso the peanut ones and the crispy shell ones.

Skim milk? Not surprised. Most cheapo chocolate in the US frankly tastes like waxy, tasteless (the only taste is sugar), corn-starchy crap. I used to love Hershey's but now they taste weird.

Nope, they're not. In the U.S., Smarties are known as those little tart discs, wrapped in cellophane, that are handed out on Halloween.
