Of course.

One time when I was a kid I ordered a hamburger at a pizza place. Hamburger came out, I slathered it with ketchup and.... the ketchup was turned. Still remember that one and I was probably 6.

Not too long ago I had a big ol bite of turned coleslaw from a bar and grill. They were loathe to give me a replacement side. Big mistake on their part.

I don't complain at restaurants often, but when it is truly justified in a situation such as this, everyone should complain.

Also have had all manner of turned dairy products.

Confession: I actually like slightly turned orange juice and apple cider

One bite won't kill you.

I looked at the salad dressings in the company refrigerator once, and all 5 of them had sell-by dates 4 years before. Yuck.

I once poured myself a bowl of cereal, added milk, went and sat down to eat it (without my glasses on) and after a few bites I noticed something moving in my bowl. It was weevils! I wonder how many I ate?

I had just bought the cereal on the way home from work the previous day.

Nothing will happen from one bite. Don't panic and stop thinking about it...
Drink hot tea and relax

Yeah, I remember while living in an apartment, I woke up one night very thirsty and half asleep went to the kitchen to get few sips of a leftover tea, I drank that evening. I had it all down when I noticed that something is crawling up my hand. I turned on the light and saw that the whole cup was full of ants. (I never saw any ants there before.). I had ants in and around my mouth, and on my face. You know - THAT made me freak out!
I made me a cup of hot tea to kill any ants I already swallowed, cleaned the kitchen, took shower but didn't slept well that night anymore .....

Oh my God Thank God I've never had that happen! I've heard some stores have problems with weevils in their cereals & rice mixes, flours, etc. Yuck

I used to go to this deli near a job I had. They had really good tuna salad. So that day I ordered some on a roll, brought it back to the job and ate it. After a few bites I said to myself this tastes sour but I was so hungry I ate the whole thing. Needless to say within 1/2 hour I was vomitting and had to go home. I continued to vomit and had a fever. Called my Dr. and he said it was food poisoning. I was better the next day. It tokk me 5 years before I would eat any tuna fish salad. I won't get it out anymore. I make it myself.
