that's interesting; I never heard this.

As for using rice, well we have been eating both white and brown (not crazy over brown) for decades and so far we are all alive except for parents who would all be 110 or older by now. I am not a huge consumer f rice, we do have it every few weeks and I am not going to worry about what is in it that much: I would be more concerned about the calories.
