One thing I like about Greek yogurt is it's thicker. I have a couple of great recipes that call for yogurt and it works well in them. I like adding fresh fruit to it. If I really want to indulge, I'll sprinkle a little granola on top. Healthy Choice makes a frozen yogurt using Greek yogurt and it's noticeably thicker than the traditional frozen yogurt. It's good though.

I choked it down, but I wasn't happy about it!

I used Greek yogurt to make cheese cake bars once and it turned out really well! Glad I'm not the only one who has trouble with it. Everywhere I go people seem to absolutely love it.

I find Greek yogurt is the best when you make it into a fresh, wholesome smoothie. 1 cup ice, 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, add any fruit you want and mix it in a blender (I usually add 1/2 cup strawberries and banana, strawberries and mango, or banana and 1 spoonful of unsalted, pure peanut butter).

Greek yogurt contains more protein so I thought I should try it. At first I bought plain and simply couldn't get it down, so I added honey. I finally had to add so much honey to make it taste good that I think it was unhealthy with all that sugar. Then I started buying Chobani with fruit and that is better, but I prefer Oikos. I still think it is much more sour tasting than regular yogurt.

I'm not sure if the kind I had was full-fat or fat-free, but it was terrible. I think it was Chobani. Very sour, even with the blueberries.

My folks used to make their own. Mom was sent the "starter" from her sister in South Dakota. They'd add milk to it and set it on the counter for a day or two. I wish I could remember the name of the starter. It's something like beema or behma. Mom would say it with a Finnish accent but I can't even remember what's it's called now.

Since you make your own, does this ring a bell?

I like Chiobani, vanilla. It's tolerable. There's also a frozen Greek yogurt that sold with the frozen dinners. It's pretty good but it's like ice cream tease. Makes me want head for the real sweet stuff.

Have you tried stirring it up before you eat it? I made the mistake of not stirring it up when I first ate it and it was sour, then I realized how dumb I was, and then I stirred it up the next time and it tasted just fine to me.

I use it in smoothies to make them creamier and it works very well. I also picked up some Noosa brand that is strawberry rhubarb flavored at Sprouts the other day. I heard it was delicious and am excited to try it. I love rhubarb.

Honestly, I hate the stuff.

Too thick.

Smells is too strong to me. It's similar to rotting milk.

I'll stick with my regular yogurts...
