From the list, I vote for Ruffles. Never heard of Utz. I don't care for Lays & I like to have Pringles when I don't want a ton of salt on my chips. BUT, like someone else mentioned the vinegar ones, oh ya, that I can tolerate, the salt & vinegar mix. My favorite was not listed, "BETTER MAID" HOT potato chips. I could eat 1/2 the bag in one sitting, oh my gosh.

I tried the Utz Crab chips the other day. I ate them because I had paid for them. To me, they were pretty nasty.
GrubGrade | Snack Review: UTZ Crab Chips
A lot of people have to love them though, or they wouldn't be selling them. They have a multi color ..blue potato/sweet potato/regular potato combo bag that is not bad at all though.

Utz and Ruffles tied, then Lays, then Pringles. What I like more is going to a small chinese or indian grocery store and picking up their potato chips. Prawn flavor is great, so is the mala hotpot flavor. Too bad they don't usually come with ridges though.

Go find a shop that sells Walker's crisps - they have some strange flavors (Prawn Cocktail, Lamb and Mint, Pickled Onion, Marmite, Chili and Chocolate, Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding to name a few) But the flavor I'd most like to try is Walker's Cajun Squirrel flavor crisps.

Is this an English brand?

I live in Pennsylvania where there are no less than 70 manufactures of pretzels with forty of them producing potato chips.
Most local grocery store chains carry an impressive array of brands in which to choose from like;
Gibbles, Utz, Wege, Herr's, Goods and Martin's.

Lays are for the poor people who have no choice but to eat a "" chip "" made by a multi national conglomerate.

As for me I live in chip, cheese curl and pretzel heaven.

Yes - they are a bit difficult to find in some areas of the US.

Not even close IMO. Wise by far. And Utz is closer to Wise than Lays.

Good's Potato Chips (Berks County, Pennsylvania) - the kind fried in LARD. Leaves an oil slick on your hand and tongue.
