We have no problem finishing off a turkey just between the two of us.....we do get a bit "turkey'd" out but those turkey sandwiches are the best!! Yummy!
Oh LaseyEx...I do feel for you in that cold. Here I wish for snow and there you have to much!! I don't even have the cold for an excuse to feel like a hermit!! Least it sounds like you're making up some wonderful dishes!! You are in my thoughts!!

Would you repost that recipe or do you know what page it's on? I want to copy and paste it in my recipes--Silly me, I didn't do it when it was posted and before I knew it these pages just keep adding up! Thanks.

Love them with mayo, stuffing, cranberries-yum.

Be happy to:

I take about 10-12 chicken thighs put them in a baking pan. (Use however many you want just adjust your dressing)
Cover chicken with a bottle of Italian dressing (I use Wish-Bone Robusto Italian)
Take brown sugar and literally throw it over the chicken...it will stick.

Preheat oven to 250 (yes 250)

Cover baking dish with tin foil.....

Cook two hours with the tin foil and after two hours, take the foil off and bake for additional 2 hours.

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!

Cyn-here's what I do-

1 head red cabbage diced
1 Onion diced
1/2 c lemon juice
1/2c brown sugar
2 apples cored and chopped
Mix cabbage, onions, lemon juice-add sugar and apples.
Bake 350 for 2-3 hrs.
Put a pan under as it can get messy.

I use the same basic recipe, but my Grandmother cooked it on top of the stove, until the cabbage had cooked through, and liquid had reduced, which is what I do, also. I make this with pirogies and smoked sausage, its always on the table for holidays, and any other meal I think it will enhance, even though I usually end up eating it by myself.
