Happy boxing day, all! Am contemplating going out for BBQ either today or tomorrow. That or leftovers. And leftovers can be frozen, right?

I'll make sure my wife takes a gander at it. Mean time tonight may be Mac and Velveeta with diced ham... As of now just speculation.

Lacey I thought so about the compressed parts but didn't want to tell him wrong or offend any canned ham fans in saying it was pieces and parts.

elston he said this ham had different coloring which I told him probably was different parts of a ham. He said he fried a piece up for his breakfast it tasted better than the piece he had last night right out of the can.

skbs how is your sinus problem doing? I know what you mean about being stuffed just eating one finger food thing brings the belly back to full. We are invited out to Applebees after Church on Sunday that is my DD's fav so hopefully we will have room by then.

jimj you are brave facing those shopping crowds, kids are trying to talk me into going but I am winning so far. On the canned ham that is why I never bought them.

cyn you are farther along than me too. I quit for 8 days recently when I had bronchitis but kept thinking about smoking the whole time. My family should have locked away my car keys so I could go get more smokes for about a month. Of course if I killed them off one by one I would have never know where they hid the cars keys.

We had fried ham and eggs for breakfast must of filled everybody up cause I haven't had to go fix any lunch. Supper is still up in the air all our tummies are full too.

Probably something from Applebee's or Chili's, but I haven't decided yet. It's always a very hard decision. And it won't involve a burger, either.

IMHO I am sticking with my original statement ..... there are "canned hams" and then again there are "canned hams"; I have at times been fortunate enough to have canned hams that put supermarket butts and shanks to shame! I think you get the quality you pay for.

Well good afternoon fellow foodies.
Just popping in to see if everyone had a great Holiday.

I don't know what is for dinner today (I don't care either)....So stuffed from the last couple of days and there are plenty of leftovers for whoever wants them.

Cyn you are doing well without the cigs...it is hard to quit but you have plenty of support. VPCats ..didn't you do this over a year ago? I believe she did great. You have all of us to help you........

Next month it will be 5 years for me. I did it cold turkey after 32 years of smoking. I wish you all the best. Hard at first but what a difference. My DH still smokes but not in the house. I win because I have to do the curtains LOL

Default Chicken Wings (Wyngs??) and Veggies

Tonight, I've got some of those boneless chicken wings from Tyson (somehow the label says Wyngs - I'm not sure what's up with that, anyway ), and on the side, I'm steaming some broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower, to be drizzled with butter spray.

Tomorrow will be spent grocery shopping, and I'll be posting the details on my next "Agenda" on Sunday.
