I am Woman, very sorry about your friend, but glad you got a nice short shift.

Tonight we are having the bacon wrapped hot dogs that DH requested, and some sort of fancy dessert I will pick up at the Chocolate Angel tearoom, where I am meeting my Grandmother and my aunt and cousin for lunch.
For some reason DH declined to attend this luncheon?!

Skbs and IAW my sympathies to you and your friends. Loss of friends or family is never easy.
I am not big on doing a big deal on Valentines Day...so we're having hot dogs! I'll tie a ribbon around them! Ha!
YoungLisa...you and my DH think alike---he said I'll get you candy tomorrow as it will be on sale---just joking of course!! I think! :0

Oh Lacey he is the trickster he calls back a little later laughing saying "listen to this" he recorded our early phone call on his cell phone. Guess some of his friends and he is getting quite the laughs from good ole mom's reaction.

There used to be a mocking bird that would dive bomb my sweet dog and pull hair for its nest....my poor Hannah just didnt know what to do about it. She was so kind and gentle......the mockingbird took advantage of her.

Just came back from the grocery store (again) and I bought Rock Lobster Sauce to have with the Angel Hair pasta. No baked potato today. I gave in to DH because he said it was lighter. lol

skbs & iaw: my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and the families.

Dinners as usual sound great here in Foodieland.

A VERY HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE.

I wasn't here at all yesterday, very busy at the supermarkets and we went out to lunch for good ole American cheeseburgers and greasy fries. A once in awhile craving.

Dinner last night was fantastic. Oven roasted catfish, dipped in egg mixture and dredged in Panko, Pecorino Romano cheese, garlic & Greek powder, fresh It. parsley. Drizzled melted unsalted butter on top, baked at 400 for 20 mins. until golden and flaky. Squeeze of lemon. It was soooo tender and delicious. Yellow rice & steamed broccoli with onions & garlic.

Tonight will be B. Angus NY strip steaks, broiled lobster tails, baked potatoes, and grilled asparagus & shallots.

Have a wonderful day everyone. kelsie

I'm trying Elston's pork chops but w/o the green pepper as that would mess Mr. L's precarious intestine. He's difficult to change things up on but you all raved so I just have to do it.
