Tofu scramble is very good, Amy's has one in the frozen food section that has tofu scrambled bits with cherry tomatoes and hash browns.

In costa rica they eat rice and beans for breakfast with queso blanco

In Asian countries a savory noodle bowl with broth and veggies is great.

My parent would make us cafe con leche ( mom would put a bit of salt in it so it wasn't too sweet) Cuban bread with butter and as a treat guave with cream cheese crackers.

In Europe they mostly east cold cuts with cheese in the morning and they think eggs in the morning as very American.

I have been lucky enough to have traveled a lot for work, and for me a noodle bowl in the morning is awesome.

Also, quinoa is excellent for breakfast. I make quinoa patties by mixing onion, cooked quinoa and some soy meat, and lightly sauteeing them. You can even get quinoa flakes that save on the step of cooking the quinoa.

Quinoa is a great suggestion! I used to keep some in the fridge for breakfast, but I've gotten out of the habit. I think 1/2 an avocado covered with a scoop of seasoned quinoa would make a very satisfying breakfast.

One of my favorites:
Put raw oatmeal in a bowl or storage container, add just enough apple juice to cover, and let it sit overnight in the fridge. In the morning it's ready (no cooking). If you want it warm, microwave it briefly. Mix in nuts and/or fruit if you want, and top with plain yogurt.

Both grits and oatmeal (I prefer the Steel Cut type) are delicious with just salted butter.

Breakfast sausage, steak and hash, side of fruit.

I make a bowl of oats sometimes, using raw oats, milk and add a scoop of whey protein, sometimes with blueberries.

Beans and rice. Any recipe with couscous... that would be very quick to cook and make a nice light breakfast.

NO! to couscous -- it is not a distinct grain. couscous is PASTA and does not meat the wheat-free requirement here.
