I eat eggs almost every day, and my cholesterol is low. It depends on how your liver processes things, and that probably depends upon your parents and what genes they gave you.
Don't believe everything you read. Most things in life (short of having scrambled eggs with crack) are okay in moderation. Eggs are healthy, given you don't eat five three times a day, every day.
Diamond Jim Brady would supposedly eat 2 dozen eggs, a pound of bacon, a loaf of bread as toast and a gallon of orange juice for breakfast. I think you're ok with 5.
Actually, I'll eat 4 or 5 boiled eggs at one sitting if they're sitting around (usually Easter).
