I totally agree! I know several people, including those with Type I diabetes, who are on a low carb high fat diet. About 80-85% of their diet is "natural fat". Lots of beef and pork fat, butter, cream, olive oil and coconut oil. They also eat a lot of veggies that are low in carbs. All of them are quite healthy. The diabetics have low A1C's, low triglyceride levels, low LDL levels and fairly high HDL levels. Moreover, all these people including the diabetics aren't overweight. I'm slowing working my way to a LFHC diet. I love fatty meat, butter, cream, coconut and olive oils. I'm sold on it!
