I have a bag of Lay's BBQ chips stashed that I'm eating all by myself with jalapeno cheese dip (also stashed). It's taken me about a week and I'm just getting to the bottom of the bag.
I love Frito Lays plain potato chips more than any other kind. They are so versatile and go with almost any dip. I also like sea salt and black pepper chips.
I detest sea salt and vinegar chips and don't see how people can enjoy that sour lip-puckering flavor.
Salt and vinegar chips and Tostitos Hint of Lime tortilla chips are both chips where I could eat a whole bag if I didn't consciously mete out a single serving.
Just last week my Husband and I stopped at Jimmy John's and had a sandwich (we always split the sandwich) and a bag of Jalapeno Chips (we split those as well).
If we are not at Jimmy John's getting a sandwich we do not have chips or any other junk food and the Jimmy John's stop is once every 4+ months.
Herr's Honey Barbecue chips. When I was a teen, I used to love Lay's Barbecue chips, but as the years passed, either they changed the recipe or my taste buds matured. Whichever it was, I never found a chip that I actually loved until a year ago when I tried the Herr's.
And, yes, I could eat a whole bag - all by myself - all at one sitting. But I try not to.

I was going to tell you about Lay's Old-Fashioned BBQ chips -- they are the SAME! GREAT! TASTE! that we remember from childhood -- but, with some research, I sadly discovered that they're only available in Canada. Cross the border and they're yours for the taking.
I agree about the Herr's Honey Barbecue -- that's what I ate when I lived in the States. Yum!
Oh, and to answer the OP's question: Yes. Yes, I can. Even the FAMILY-SIZED bag of Lay's Old Fashioned BBQ is no match for little ol' me... in one sitting. (I'm an over-achiever. )
I dont remember when was the last time i bought a small bag of chips and finished it all by myself on the same day.
God...thats awful. i am going to get some now.
