Nah...our old fridge crapped out about six months ago, so I had to toss everything. It was hotter in there than it was in the room, so everything had to go.
Seems like there are a lot of us with new fridges. Just got mine about three weeks ago so everything is brand new...Sure got sticker shock when shopping though cause my old one was about 15 years old and I know I didn't pay over $1000 for it.
Bought an 18 cubic foot at Home Depot last year delivered for $379
It was brand new in the box and on sale.
You're right though... neighbors just paid $3000 for a new refrigerator... nothing wrong with the old one other than it was 12 years old and according to them on borrowed time.
My fridge is only 3 years old and yes I did pay 1,000 for it but it was worth it. I was wondering I have chocolate syrup in a bottle I bought 1 month ago. Does it have to be in the fridge?
I paid a ridiculous amount for my fridge, but I needed counter depth and they make you pay more money for less room when you buy that size! I do love it though.

My builder friend came up with a simple solution that works quite well... he builds in a small wall niche directly behind the refrigerator that adds 3 or more inches in depth and looks good.
One of my pet peeves is a dirty fridge and old containers that have packed on a thin layer of fridge gunk, so nothing stays in there for more than a few weeks. Not even a bottle of ketchup.
