I like the chocolate which comes from Belgium. Trader Joe's Milk Chocolate bars are excellent, in my opinion, and very economical as well.

Now I think I have to go hunt some chocolate and have it with a wee glass of Merlot....

there should be a national candy bar day... a guilt free eat all you want day just for candy bars.....


I love many candy bars... but don't buy them.....

I remember Cherry Mash, Macrina but I liked Mountain Bars better ("Brown and Haley makes 'em daily"). You're right that some of those classic candy bars are just not the same. They're either smaller or not as good. I used to love Butterfingers, but they don't taste flaky and buttery the way they did when I was little .

Ah yes, I fondly remember Butterfingers from the old days!

And even though PayDay bars are still widely available, they just don't taste the same now, do they?

I think taste buds have a memory separate from the thinking brain....
