So we went to an Albanian/Italian restaurant last night. It was really good. I got Chilean sea bass served over ravioli and my husband had steak pizzaiola with garlic spinach mashed potatoes. We just had calamari for an appetizer. We decided to go to a bar diagonally across the street. Ugh! What a mistake. We went from a lovely quiet meal (they had a piano player) and chatting with a really interesting bartender from Albania to loud bad music. I was the only female there but hey counting the bartender there were only 4 other people in there!
The sun is shining, the temps will be around 70 degrees and spoiled brat is about to put the ribs on the smoker. My mouth is watering and it is barely past breakfast time. We are going to have cottage cheese salad with the ribs, as well as veggies (I am not sure what yet) and maybe I will open a can of bar b cued beans. The ribs have a homemade rub on them, plus I will make a sauce to put on them the last hour or so of smoking.

YES!!! Nuovo!!!! But I was confusing that meal with another. The OTHER was one of the best meals of my life. So if you're ever going to the north end of Boston, read this first:
Found some lovely tender tiny fresh okra in the Asian grocery today and have some great Cajun Andouille from my sausage guy, so I'm making jambalaya for dinner tonight.

Happy belated birthday! When I turn 50 () in May, we can talk about how "prime" I feel.
It looks really good and we will have to try it. We moved closer to the Worcester area from the Boston area a few years ago. Since then we don't go into Boston as much as we used too.
