I've stop eating out at fast foods because it's bad for my health and my diabetic and heart doctor has been telling me for years not too eat at fast food places.

News, Jessica Freed A Michigan chiropractor has been saving a Taco Bell chicken taco and McDonald's cheeseburger with fries for two years, and none of the items have appeared to rot.
Dr. Jaqueline Vaughn purchased the meals in early 2013 and put them on display in her office, Vaughn Chiropractic, in Waterford, Michigan.

What are we supposed to deduce from that information, mummies ate fast food?

Food not rotting doesn't necessarily have anything to do with preservatives. Any uncontaminated food kept in a reasonably dry and clean environment should just dry out, not rot. Food only rots if there are bacteria or mold present, along with a moist enough environment to allow them to thrive and multiply. If any food can be kept clean through the first few weeks it will dry enough that it will never go bad, so the length of time is pretty pointless as well.

What's weirder? Food that doesn't rot or a chiropractor keeping old foodstuffs on display in her office for two years?

How appropriate! A fake doctor trying to deride fast food for drying out instead of rotting away. If she wanted to make a real point she would have placed the items next to a healthy salad and an organic free range chicken meal with whole grain rice and steamed veggies. They would have dried out exactly the same in the same conditions.

Good one, I was thinking the same thing.

We all know fast food is bad for us but sometimes it is what it is, just a quick bite to keep you going.

The fast food served is McDonalds and other places like that is so terrible for you not only because of the extreme poor quality of the core ingredients, but also because of the chemicals/additive they put in it which are known to be harmful to humans but allowed by the FDA at the thresholds used. Here's an article:
You’ll Never Eat McDonald’s Again After Reading These 10 Horrifying Facts | True Activist

That's the absolute truth and although my body (or mind) still sometimes yearns for the occasional Big Mac and Fries, I am unfailingly reminded by how badly they actually taste each time I eat them and then further by how badly I feel the rest of the day. There's something devious and insidious going on if you ask me... it's not food yet it is marketed as such. You literally cannot live off of McDonald's (as proven by the 30 days special on it), it actually will kill you if you eat it daily. It will just fill your stomach. You are much much better off buying some fruit/nuts/berries and munching on that to fill your stomach than buying fast-food crap which poisons you.

Exactly, I think most people don't make a habit of eating fast food as replacement for full meals. I eat fast food if I'm in a rush or on the road. It's the convenience of fast food that makes it an easy choice. If I get off of work at 8-9pm, I'm not going to go home and cook and end up eating dinner at 9-10pm when I have to be up at 5am.

Shocking it still looks that "good." I wouldn't have thought that. And, it does say a lot about how un-fresh the food is. Once in a while, it won't hurt you though. Thing is the more you eat healthy and fresh you lose your taste for fast food cuz it doesn't taste good anymore.
