Ground cardamom. This was suggested to me by a practitioner of ayurvedic medicine, and at first I was skeptical. But then I tried it, and boom! I was hooked.

Maple Syrup - only 100% Pure Maple Syrup will do!!!
We used to go to a local place out in the woods in northern Minnesota to watch their maple syrup operation every Spring on what they called Maple Sunday. Anyway, one of the fun things was that they gave each visitor a scoop of vanilla ice cream with some maple syrup on top. So, so good and something I had not thought of on my own, but now I love.

I put ginger on good vanilla ice cream. I do like cardamom.
