Before you know it there is going to be a movement to outlaw bacon and make us all eat nothing but turkey bacon until they find something wrong with that.

As for worrying about cutting down trees as some seem to be, we need to remember, trees are the only renewable resourse. You can just look in my back yard if you don't believe me or our front yard. Almost every year one of the old trees in our yard dies and falls down. WE have it cleaned up, hauled away and within days an seedling has sprung up somewhere in our yard.In fact we have to keep the seedlings under control or we are going to have nothing but a yard full of small trees, which eventually will be big trees.

I'm not crazy about "controlling" any food anything, but trans fats are clearly implicated in bad health. I don't think it's controversial like cholesterol is; they are clearly bad. Slippery slope though. Sugar is bad for health, too. Where does it stop, don't know.
