Plenty

Grapefruit, most apples (Golden Delicious are ok), asparagus, cooked spinach, collard greens, parsnips, rhubarb, kale and turnips to name a few.

Have those of you hating on okra ever had it grilled? It's not the least bit slimy, and in fact it is one of my favorite veggies! I love it with a light spicy soy sauce glaze.

They also contain a compound that is allergenic to some. I don't like them because they make my throat, lips, and tongue swell slightly and feel prickly.

I like okra in gumbo and breaded in cornmeal batter, fried, and served with hot sauce.

Now, that I'd be willing to try. I have an aversion to anything slimy, so that might just do it.

Oh, I just remember another one: jackfruit. Apparently they are delicious, but I could not get past the awful smell enough to actually taste it.

I've recently started eating avocado a few times a week--sometimes for breakfast. I have a pretty 'jumpy' stomach, digestive tract, and they are one of the few things which never give me a problem.

!! What? I sort of like parsnips. I don't love them. My father was the only one in the family who loved parsnips. Mom would cook them for him once in a while. I'd sit at the table and eat parsnips with my dad. No one else in the family would.

I love parsnips For Sentimental Reasons.

Its probably one of my favorite foods. I need to get on that.
Ahh, guacamole! and their are so many doctors that think avocados are the perfect food.

Best I had, made at a NM restaurant at the table and now I make, is fresh pressed garlic,
salt and lime in the correct proportions...nothing complicated.
