I make stuff for husband all the time that I don't necessarily care for. First thing that comes to mind is pasties. A comfort food for him.
He is not a fan of some of my favorites, Alfredo based dishes, stroganoff, etc., that I don't cook at home just because it's a pain to cook two separate dinners, I eat like a bird, can't make serving sizes for just myself and I won't eat leftovers.
The only thing I make that I don't like is tuna salad which I make for my OH as a snack sometimes. Hate hate hate the smell of tinned tuna, I just breathe from my mouth while I'm making it and insist he rinses his bowl straight away after eating!
I cook what I like for the most part but I can't eat it all. My husband loves Italian foods and lots of pasta. If I ate the way he did I would blow up like a balloon.

Apparently, we are twins that were separated at birth.
I'm not a fan of red sauce but my husband loves it so I end of cooking something with red sauce at least once a week. I don't find it completely disgusting but I would be happy to never eat spaghetti again in my life.
My mother hated peanut butter in ALL forms. She would hold her breath while making PB&J sandwiches.
However, when she had to make cookies, she would clip her nose shut with a laundry pin while handling the dough. I gave her credit for that. As soon as my sisters reached a certain age, they took over the peanut butter cookies.

My mother couldn't stand peanut butter, either. I'll give your mom credit for that. There weren't any peanut butter cookies in my house.
