Big celebration tonight with family.We will have a potluck dinner and the food that will be served is chicken leg tandoori,aloo ghobi,saag paneer,kofta curry,chapatis,basmati rice with cashew nuts,cloves,cardamon,cucumber raita,onion salad,naan. To drink lassi,beer or wine. For dessert gulab jamun,kheer/rice pudding,laddu and Darjeeling tea,masal tea or black coffee.
I'm under the weather today from my flu shot so hubby will probably run out and get us pizza slices from Anthony's. Mine will have meatballs, onions and pineapple.
busy fence building so it was a quickie for us(and a 2 for 1 coupon)- Subway= the carved turkey with cranberry mustard sauce and double veggies on whole wheat, not bad for fast food!
WE will, as usual spend the afternoon watching football so I want to keep dinner simple. I am doing roasted chicken thighs, waldorf salad and winter squash. It looks like green vegetable will not be on the menu tonight. I need to make a run to the store and buy something to get us through the next 10 days.We are even out of spinach and romaine.
