We have another heat advisory so I'm opting for build your own sandwiches. Italian roast beef, Virginia ham, provolone or Swiss cheese, and for me liverwurst ( yes, I know, not good for you. In my defense, I haven't had it for 20 years. Every once in a great while I'll by a 1/4 pound and eat one sandwich. My parents loved it. We will have deviled egg potato salad, dill pickles, and usually garnishes of tomato, lettuce, red onion. Warm cherry pie a la mode and watermelon too.

Someone asked me if we had 4th of July in England. I told them "Nope, the calendars have July 3rd followed immediately by July 5th."

Potatoes and eggs for hubby, a tossed salad with turkey from the deli and dried cranberries. Too hot out!!!

It's Tuna from the can mixed with pasta and mayo. Kind of like a macaroni salad with tuna in it.
