Baked pork chops tonight, applesauce, boiled new potatoes, and corn on the cob.
We are waiting for Hermine to pass over tomorrow, so I hope we don't lose electricity. I am hoping to bake some Swedish coffee bread.

Cooked myself a nice piece of gammon, a couple of fried eggs, chips, salad and garden peas.

Rather fab, if I may say so myself

*Harvest chicken salad * - with halved red grapes, celery, carrots, diced Granny Smith Apples, slivered almonds (that's what I had on hand. It goes well with any nut) dried cranberries and a sweet and tangy dressing made from equal parts light mayo, apple cider, and sour cream. Sea salt and ground pepper to taste.

Home made angel hair coleslaw. G-free rice crackers.

Peach pie. Home made.

Taking this to a church choir picnic.

* I use "Quorn" brand naked chick'n cutlets to replace chicken, you may use what you like

Ok so I shopped at Super Target and ordered from Abuelo's. This is the best Mexican food in Tulsa. DS got the pulled chicken nachos and I got the chicken fajita chimichanga with rice and charro beans. We're sharing a piece of dulce de Leche cheesecake.

Meatloaf, broccoli with homemade cheese sauce. It's raining like crazy here. Haven't had rain in 1 month.

We had the last of the lamb meatballs tonight. Now I wish I had some of Almrausch's plum cake for dessert!

Alm and Magic are my food crushes right now. Carnitas, mmmmm. Plum cake...mmmmmm.

First week of semester overish and I'm too exhausted to really cook, boo hoo! I considered Chinese food but instead have landed on the more budget friendly:

Tuna salad (hellman's, celery, pickle) on hoagie buns with iceberg lettuce
Potato chips
Carrot sticks
