Made broth from the carcass, added the gravy (made from giblets/neck), some herbs and seasonings, will add napa and green cabbage, carrots, rutabaga, onions, fresh spinach, celery and will cook dumplings on top.
Picked out the leftover meat from the broth and add to the leftover drippings for the dogs.

Haha. The soup was good, but too many small turkey bones in it!!!
I always pour my stock through a cheesecloth-lined strainer to avoid that type of situation. In fact, I made my two-day turkey soup for tonight's dinner.
well I was saying left overs be gone with you, but we have some left over from our meal out of Saturday. I have left over salmon and pasta and spoiled brat had a little left over steak, not to mention son in law didn't eat his asparagus so we are mixing it all together with a little more meat and having it for dinner. I have lots of veggies in the fridge, guess will have them as well. of course we are meeting old friends for lunch today; the guy was in our wedding 59 years ago and went to high school with hubby. We haven't seen them in 10 years. I hope we don't have anymore "left overs" to bring home.
Stuffed chicken breasts: artichoke, spinach, parm cheese, and rice.
