I LOVE Chicken Pho. But I refuse to cook it. Same with Hot & Sour soup.

French fries - love them. I don't like to fry though, so I rarely cook fries or fried chicken, but I will order them out.

Omelets....I always make a mess, can't quite get the flipping part down. I let BF or the Diner make mine.

Default Yes, Tamales!!!

Love tamales !
Made them a couple times, my goodness the process.
I was to tired to eat them when I was done. My hb and son & family sure enjoyed them though. So it was worth it at that time.
But next batch will be purchased!

Any ethnic food that requires buying a ton of ingredients, like odd spices.

highlandsgirl,

I refused to make gyros also, but I got hold of some ground lamb on clearance ($2.00/1.16 lbs) and found this recipe. Took 5 min to put together. I shaped mine into a meatloaf and then thinly sliced into gyro strips when it was done. threw it into a pita w/ sliced onions, tomatoes, and some tzatziki from Costco and YUM - tasted like regular gyros!
