Personally, I don't drink milk straight anymore, but not because I don't like it or because it's not appealing. It's because I try to focus my liquid intake on water. I start my day with a cup of coffee, and over the course of the day, I try to drink 64-96 oz of water. There isn't much room for anything else.

Recently though, I bought a very small container of milk because I needed a 1/4 cup for a recipe. There was still milk left in the container that wasn't going to last much longer, so I drank it. I forgot how much I enjoy it!

I do. Thanks just because you don't care for it and don't see others drinking it doesn't make it odd at all. Sure you can get those nutrients elsewhere but dairy is an excellent source. Just because consumption is down that doesn't correlate to people finding it odd. That part is just your opinion

You must get REALLY freaked out about eating animal flesh. And their eggs!

No, I don't and I'm hardly a vegan, but milk grosses me out. Would you drink a cow's urine? Where does the line get drawn? Mine, I guess is at straight bodily fluids.

I've never seen a calf drink urine either.

BTW - you do understand we aren't required to agree with you, right?

Sorry, there's nothing better than a piece of cake with a glass of milk.

Of course. Just as I don't have to agree with the insinuation that I must get "REALLY freaked out" eating a steak because I can't wrap my head around a tall glass of bodily fluid. You do understand that, right?

I don't drink milk as much as I used too. I mostly use it in coffee (2%) if I do have milk it's in cereal. I might have a glass of milk once a year. Chocolate milk is a favorite but I only have that once a year too. Skim milk is nasty tasting by itself and in coffee however the Skim plus brand is ok. I buy organic milk.

Not too long ago my extended family was at a restaurant for dinner, and my sister's boyfriend ordered a glass of milk. We all kind of looked askance at each other. It was honestly the first time I'd ever seen an adult order milk at a restaurant.
