Best I can tell you is to give it a try. It makes for a really nice sweet/savory combo. It isnt something that I would do on a regular basis but it is more common than you think

I never salt anything.........ANYTHING. Not even when cooking. When I get fries from McDonalds, I feel like I might as well just empty a salt shaker into my mouth, same effect.

Nothing. I add salt to none of my foods as our food contain more sodium than is needed anyway

I salt everything except desserts. But I use sea salt only, and avoid table salt.

I salt a lot of things; I couldn't begin to list them all. I do NOT, however, salt:

Sherbet
Vienna sausages
Brownies
Chili
Ice water
Tea
Baked beans
Brach's Marshmallow Eggs
Hershey bars
Smoothies

very, very light on eggs

other than that, I don't have salt in the home anymore, and also two condiments total, replaced with differenty as used.
Unless you're still in the growing stage, there's so much salt in almost everything we eat, especially processed foods, that you not only don't need it, your overweight issues revolve around SALT.

get rid of it

In the summer months when I am more active earning food sweating out salt I tend to up my salt intake at the dinner table to suit taste buds. Weight still declines. Avoiding salt will not burn fat from my recliner and not lower my blood pressure as I still have to pump blood through detestable fat. Doc tells me that salt has more to do with water retention than be so I sweat it out. Now please pass the tomatoes and the shaker.

I typically don't add salt to any food. I eat less popcorn these days, but will lightly salt it if needed. I will lightly salt corn on the cob, too. Nothing else.

Pretty much everything. Even add salt and Lite Salt to my water to make ketoade.

I try to get pretty close to 5000mg of sodium each day, as I follow a ketogenic way of eating.

My blood pressure was just tested at 110/60. ;-)
