During a visit to Avery Island, Louisiana I enjoyed a Tabasco ice cream cone and was surprised at how refreshing it was. As much as I like a good mayonnaise, though, I don't think I'd care for it as an ice cream flavor.

Yes - the pickle juice popsicles are here. I was just looking at a recipe the other day. Wonder if Pickle Juice knows about this.

This recipe looks easy enough. My only concerns are the amounts of sugar and mayonnaise: the amount of sugar seems excessive and the amount of mayonnaise insufficient..

I have a beef stew recipe that uses mayo. It's delicious!

You just have me a BRILLIANT idea! 💡 very small I've cubes made out of olive juice for my dirty martinis - which I prefer on the rocks. I'm NOT kidding. I'm loving this and seriously plan to look for an ice cube tray that will work (probably at the dollar store. I'm enthused, but only to the point of a couple of bucks.)

i knew someone whose favorite sandwich was mayonnaise. bread and mayonnaise. lots of mayo. she said bread existed only as a garnish for mayonaise, which was the main attraction.

she would probably go for mayo ice cream.

Do you know you can buy ones that make little round ice cubes? Those would be perfect.

Reminds me of a song.

Porcupine pie
Porcupine pie
Vanilla soup
3 scoops of
chicken ripple ice cream.

I'm usually up for odd combinations - a small amount of black pepper will REALLY wake up bland strawberries, and peanut butter and purple onion sandwiches are interesting.

But mayo ice cream sounds like something designed to make someone's stomach turn.

I saw a youtube where this guy had cleaned out a mayo jar and filled it with yogurt and sat there at a table eating it with a spoon - and he may as well have been eating boogers with the looks he was getting. ;D
