I just copied a recipe, and the main ingredients are Mayo, chili sauce, ketchup, Dijon, Worcestershire, spices and olive oil…….all ingredients that have a long shelf life on their own, so if I make a batch it should last several months, right?
Now I gotta make some.

I bought some Honey Mustard sauce and it turned out to be dipping sauce (Baby Ray's). I would never use this; what else could I do with this sauce? Could I use it for salad dressing?

It would make a great marinade for a Pork Roast/Loin or Chops and a whole Chicken or specific pieces. It's probably too strong for most seafood or fish beyond something with high oil content like Salmon, Mackerel, Bluefish or Swordfish and only then would just brush it on toward the end of cooking. The same method could be used for something like Jumbo Shrimp too.

Thanks, Kyle. I was going to do a couple of pork chops in orange sauce today; maybe I'll use the dipping sauce instead and see how that works. I just wasn't sure if you could use it by cooking with it. Thanks again.

Default No Queso Tonight

Well, I wanted to have some ready-made queso to go along with some empanadas I'm baking tonight on Taco Tuesday......................................, and this poster blew it!

I forgot to stop and look at the expiration date on the label.

Dec of 2023!

So, sports fans, no queso for Case's dinner table this evening.

So, DH has been asking me to make Beef Wellington for about 40 years now, ever since he had it in a restaurant. I’m never been brave enough. I just ordered some from the company on shark tank this week. Very expensive, so I hope they are good.

For Easter, niece brought a key lime pie from Publix - Edwards brand. Normally I'm not a fan but this one was life-changing. On the lookout for more (they're in the freezer dept)

I was looking for Lemon meringue, but I got the Key Lime. Nothing wrong with a thaw, instead of real labor.

I've bought the 2 slice pack. Me and My Shadow don't need a whole pie. The stores here carry two or three types, flavors. I'd like to try the Boston cream and turtle.

Sounds a good idea. We don't need the whole pie, either. Have to look for those.
