Is some grapefruit juice mixed with Perrier or other seltzer/sparkling water out of the question?
You will miss out on ingesting a bunch of chemical sweeteners if you can make that adjustment.
It's not about the adjustment and more about the convenience. I am lucky some days to put my lunch together while working. And this is going to sound terrible, but I take medication that doesn't mix well with grapefruit. Fortunately, Fresca contains mostly grapefruit flavoring. Any actual grapefruit is minuscule. But I received a couple recipes that I will cautiously try.
Former coca cola-holic here. I cut the dependency about 20 years ago when I crossed to the diet side and cut way, way back. I couldn't stand the taste of diet coke, but found Fresca refreshing and drink maybe 2 cans a day. It's also excellent in a wine sprites.
I have noticed availability issues, but this weekend not one 12 pack was to be found. (Cans make portion control easier). A couple of 2 liter bottles made theiir way to my basket, but I think I found the last few bottles in the DC area. So, 2 questions, what is close to Fresca? (if you say Sprite, you don't understand the appeal of Fresca (sar)
Second question, what minor (yes, i confess, this is a minor) food/beverage shortage inconvenience have you suffered due to CV19?

I really think the shortage is mainly in Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated's region of distribution. You should maybe ask them why there is a shortage of Fresca.

Oh my, this is great. But I cannot believe it has come to this. My Wegmans is now out of canned Wedge (I like cans because I am not committed to drink 64 ounces before it goes flat). Wedge must be catching on. I'm going to pick up some La Croix and give it a try.

Let me know how the LaCroix is - I've had the lemon flavor and it tasted like club soda with a very slight bit of lemon juice.
