Same for me. I think they were called Banana Twins? Those were my favorites, but I never see them anymore. So second choice are the Oatmeal Crème Pies. But we don't buy them all the time. Once in a blue moon.

Unhappy RIP, "devil's food cakes".

I recently found out that cookie-size "Devil's food cakes" are no more.

Clover Valley, the last producer of "devil's food" cookie cakes, modified the recipe and ruined a perfectly good junk food.

Even Snackwell's Devil's Food Cookie, unavailable in my state, changed their formula.

OMG, this!! Haven't had one in probably 25 years (or more), but I used to use my paper route money to buy them and hide them from my siblings in my room. I could eat the whole box in a few hours. Good thing I was active at that age; because that seems (in retrospect) like a lot of sugar and carbs for a short period of time. Right now, I am seriously craving those swiss rolls.....

This should have been a poll. I vote for Nutty Bars!

When I was young and single, I would toss these in the grocery basket regularly, and pig out.

Then I began to perceive that I was gaining weight, and not burning off the excess calories as I did in my teens. So I sadly slowed down on eating such foods. But about once a year, I pick one up just for nostalgia purposes. My own teenager likes them, too.

Definitely going to try the "keep nutty bars in the freezer" trick mentioned upthread.
