Homemade hamburger on a bun which is a low carb bun so I can get away with that. Pretty good too. A little chopped onion, hamburger dill chips, sugar free ketchup and mustard. I love that combo. And a bag of Quest Taco flavored tortilla chips and Ginger Ale Zevia.
Friends are treating me to an upscale birthday dinner tonight, after having missed the past 2 years due to Covid. We're going to the hot new place on the river and I hear nothing but good things about it. they've got a coal-fired oven and lean to Mediterranean flavor profiles.
We're celebrating our Bachelor Son's birthday today. He was our Bicentennial project back in '76.
Southern MN has a good group of zip lines and this will be the perfect day to experience it. Dad and I have been there; done that so it'll just be big sis and birthday boy. Maybe it will compensate sis for all the times she had to help out with her brother's parties when she was young?
After that we'll drive over to a nearby restaurant, bakery, apple farm for dinner. People are saying it's gone downhill but I'm hearing that about a lot of restaurants lately. I guess we'll see.
Chicken taco meat over brown rice, with avocado, garden tomatoes & a little broccoli.
