It is still steamy and very hot outside,but nothing compared to my fellow Canadians in BC/Canada.This is usually my time I vacation there on one of the islands.We have an upcoming long weekend and it will be daily cycling time with the team,then horseback riding with friends and barbecue time and a swim in their pond.I wonder what the fishes will say. Oh did I mention I got last night my 2. dose of Covid vaccine and I felt like I won the lottery!
Tonight a mixed garden salad with hard boiled egg slices,roasted chicken pieces and a buttered soft Pretzel/Brezen.For dessert chilled cherry soup with semolina dumplings.
Have a great trip, Alm You have many activities to do.
Tonight it will be a stew in the pressure cooker/instant pot. Not perfect food for the heat, but at least it will cook without heating up the house. Plus I have all the ingredients so I need to use them.
It's been too hot all week, we've just been grazing from the fridge.
Gotta use up ingredients though, so tonight is madras lentils nachos. Onions, tomatoes, avocado, smidge of cheese, cilantro.
