I made it for my kids as the Harry Potter drink butterbeer for their HP-themed party. It doesn't taste bad or even weird, it's just creamy and sweet, with bubbles. We used Coke because Pepsi isn't very good.

Any drink with Pepsi/Coke that takes away the fizz is pointless to me.

I tried this as a kid after seeing it on Laverne & Shirley. It's best done with whole milk. It was OK, but not something I'd drink again.

You should have used cream soda or root beer.

Orange soda makes it taste like a creamsicle (which I hate).
But who didn't love an ice cream soda? I still prefer root beer floats, so would probably drink root beer and milk.

I tried it in college. The dorm cafeteria was set up that you helped yourself to soda and milk. One of my friends really liked this drink and encouraged me to try it. So...it didn't taste too bad but my lactose intolerance kicked in and I ended up with a stomach ache

Blech. No thank you.

But then, I’m not a fan of cola, unless I have an upset stomach. Only time I’ll drink it.

No Pepsi for me or milk. Pepsi is nasty and milk makes me sick.
