That was when they still had alot of dinner plates to choose from instead of a la carte. They did away with those in the early 80's I think.

How about the Taco Light. When was that I loved those things. I wonder if they would bring'em back if we said "por favor"

TACO BELL has changed a lot

the menu had less variety

no taco salad bowls

only mild hot sauce

no Chalupas

no steak tacos, etc

no drink refills

Now they have the 79 cent menu... to keep up with the slow economy I guess. Good move. Now you can never not afford to eat out and order at least one thing on the menu... right? I am guessing this will be real popular with the teens.

I remember the torches AND the Bellbeefers. My fave is the Enchirito, I complained LOUDLY when they discontinued them...and now they are back.

And they should have kept the green sauce! Bean Burritos with Green sauce! *yum*

Didn't they get rid of the fire out front during the energy crisis in the 70's or 80's or whenever it was.
