Yeah so myfitnesspal app says they are 500 cal each. So I pretty much just get 1 and enjoy it on a day where I plan on eating healthy all the other meals. I feel like I could eat 3-4 in a row though. It's like that guy who hold the guinnes world record for eating a Big Mac each day: he buys a ton of them at a time and freezes some in case he can't make it to a McDs on some days. Maybe I could buy some McRibs and just vacuum seal them, freeze them, and then ebay them off when they arent being sold at McDs later on. I'll call that my retirement plan. Ha!
I believe the mystery is solved. The McRib is a "restructured meat product", for which more info can be found in Google.
That doesn't explain WHAT meat is in there, hence mystery meat. Ha! Obviously that doesn't deter me....
It's basically the pork version of a McNugget: ground up meat and pressed into a shape. Oh and slathered in that sweet, sweet bbq sauce with onions and pickles. Ok now I have to go get one.
I love these! Whenever they come out, I make it a point to get one at least once. I'm not sure what kind of "mystery meat" it's made of, but it's certainly tasty, especially slathered with that sweet barbecue sauce. Now I'm determined more than ever to get one sometime between now and the end of the weekend.
I kind if want to try one but don't want to be disappointed.
