It is absolutely ok to season your Panko. I usually don't but progesso even sells a seasoned version....add what ever you want.

kats moving to a new place exploring is part of the fun! Wish we lived closer I would explore with ya.

Lacey I sent cyn a message I would send her some of my extra pounds.

I have been so bad today foodies. Been craving smokes all day so been popping food in my mouth and drinking lots of water. First time they have not gone away but the best part I have not given in to go buy smokes! Woo Hoo!

Had the last 2 manicotti for lunch late today so I am skipping supper. Kids are doing their things so no worries there. I just listed all the bad stuff I have had for snacks today but I have had I know almost a head of raw cauliflower too.

Picked up BBQ Turkey and some veggie sides to take to G'ma for dinner tonight. She ate every bite on her plate then licked her desert container clean... banana pudding!

I'm late checking in, but didn't want everyone to think I had suffered a relapse, so thought I'd pop in before heading off to bed.

Tonight was the final symphony concert of the season, so we ate downtown before the concert began. Had miso soup and a lovely assortment of sushi at our favorite Japanese restaurant downtown, with tea as an accompaniment. Really tasty stuff, and I was actually hungry for it.

Concert was awesome - they did the Verdi Requiem, one of my all-time favorites, and as always, I had to work hard to keep myself from levitating right out of my chair as the thunderous Dies Irae began. They had trumpets stationed in the four corners of the auditorium for the antiphonal brass chorus that is supposed to be the call to judgment at the start of the Tuba Mirum Spargens Sonum, and the chords echoing back and forth across the hall sent chills down my spine.

The chorus was incredible, as usual, and the male soloists were extremely good. The soprano and mezzo-soprano were not quite up to the task, sadly. The soprano had a fine voice and good pitch, but didn't quite have the "oomph" that Verdi's music demands. And the mezzo was just a hair flat throughout, not dramatically so but just enough that I kept stretching up taller in my seat, trying to push her voice just up that last critical notch to hit the right pitch.

But it was still a wonderful, wonderful concert, and a fitting dessert to our delicious sushi dinner.

Good night, all; convention planning meeting tomorrow, followed by cleaning and organizing the storage locker where the convention supplies are kept all year, followed by another meeting with the co-chairs about cash-handling changes for the registration desk, so plenty to keep us busy. Will try to check in at least once, though. Have fun chatting!
