Yeah it does, but apparently a lot of people out there use that phrase when they mean just eggs and toast.

Hey I found you all Tonight for dinner I am torn. I was contemplating making a shrimp bisque, then when reading the part 2 I saw a copy of Elston's pork chops. Now I am leaning toward making the pork chops for me and the boys and giving hubby leftover chicken. What to do, what to do?

Just my own thoughts.... but I wonder (as a Catholic raised eating it on FRIDAYS during LENT) does that have something to do with the difference? I have called it that my whole life.... just my own brain doin' the thinking.... I am just wondering I have never had it with the sausage.... I am wondering if it has anything to do with Lent.... did the meat free Fridays have something to do with people confusing it??? I know we often had it like that on Fridays and always called it Toad in a Hole... and I am sure my parents were raised calling it that... hmmm.... now I am curious about this..... LOL.... I think I have a new mission for myself today.....

too early in the morn to worry about supper~ but my recipe for breakfast sanwitch like you describe~

spray buttery spam in a bowl~ lay a couple thin slices of hamin bottom~ one egg, broken, stirred, salt and peppered~ in the microvave covered for 1 minute~ add a slice of cheese~ microwave for another 40 seconds~ put between 2 slices of toast~ bingo~ breakfast sandwitch!

Adjust cook times for your microwave so eggs finish cooking and cheese kinda melts down

Wow! A brand spanking new what's-for-dinner thread!

That might just inspire me to cook tonight.

I've had a pork tenderloin in the fridge for awhile -- tonight just might be the night to use it. My sister gave me a recipe where you take some chopped cranberries, mix them and a bit of water/broth with a packet of dry onion soup, pour it over the tenderloin and bake. I've been wanting to try it, and I have some soon-to-be-too-shriveled organic cranberries in the fridge.

Although if I don't get home from work before 7 I'm calling the pizza man with my last $20.
