I didn't realize their were two different brands. Now I'm confused. Anyhow, I ate a box of Cheeze-Its for dinner last night and finished the rest for breakfast this morning. My eating has really gone down the toilet. I need to get in control of my life.
If I had to go by brand it would be Sunshine Cheez-It crackers for me. Now I don't really care for the original day-glo orange type, but for basic cheeze flavor I do like the white Cheddar ones...they don't stain your fingers or lips the same way. Better yet are the Parmesan garlic ones. Cheese Nips never did it for me even when I was in kingergarten. Miss Ruby, the teacher, would serve us Cheese Nips on our little Tupperware salad plates at least once a week, but I did not really like them. Now on the other hand, when she made her wonderful gingerbread with lemon sauce I would eat every bit. (We used to "fight" over who got to eat their snack from the blue Tupperware plates...there were only two...the rest were all pink, yellow, or green. )
Cheez-It, hands down. Back in 2003 they came out with a chili-cheese flavor... it was nice and hot and so full of spices I could taste it hours after eating them. The product would give me terrible heartburn, but I'd eat them anyway, like an idiot.

Then they discontinued it. I still miss it.
That sounds really good, kinda like chili cheese fritos?
We've been Cheez-It folks. My kids won't eat the Nips either. We're so "hard core" that regular Cheez-Its don't do it anymore. The White Cheddar ones worked for awhile, but now we have to have the Cheddar Jack. Of course, we get burned out though every once in awhile and eat Wheat Thins plain for a couple of weeks before going back to the Cheez Its.
When my kids were toddlers, I'd give them a box in the grocery cart when we went to the commissary. Everyone called them the Cheez It babies.
In my household, the preference has always been Cheez-It. Just something about the taste, I guess.
