I hate it whenever a co-worker makes scrambled eggs or heats up fish in the microwave oven. Stinks the break room up for an hour!

The smell of butter over-cooking makes me gag. Can't use it for frying anything at all because if it goes past the melting stage and crosses over that hairline to the burning stage I have to throw out whatever I am cooking it in. Eggs, mushrooms, onions, whatever. Even cookies that have to be brought to a high temperature (lace cookies, etc). Gotta use margarine.

Otherwise I love butter. Like the "Buttertons" on that goofy commercial

It's not really something that's cooked, but I literally gag and have to hold my breath when I smell canned tuna fish. I have actually vomited from the smell more than once. Blech!

Can't stand the smell of popcorn as it cooks - or afterwards if it's loaded with movie butter. Blech. Probably conditioned into this reaction since my MANY freshmen year roommates microwaved popcorn ALL the time.

Egg after it's cooked and dried and clinging to the pan. Yick. There's a metallic odor there that makes me want to hurl. I wipe out the pan and run the disposal before I sit down to eat.

Sauerkraut. I love kraut, but I only eat it out.

Hate the smell of salmon croquettes...you know, when they're made with canned salmon. *shudder* My parents like to make these sometimes and I have to leave the room.

I also spent a few years of my life delivering pizzas, and I HATE the smell of green peppers and mushrooms together on a pizza. *gag*
