I don't know what's wrong with me. I love quiche and I love scrambled eggs with things in them... but I've never been a fan of omelets. It isn't logical. Maybe it's the cheese? I'm unsure of what the deal is. Anyone else have this QUIRK? Kudo's to Karla with a K.

I'm not trying to be funny... I'm serious!!!!

I like omelets. Cheddar cheese, green onion, ham, mushrooms, little green pepper, and dash of garlic powder!

Mushrooms, ham, and cheese.

I'm debating on black olives and feta cheese.

I've also mixed tomatoes in with my eggs. Kind of like a Mexican omelet.

I felt the same way for a long time, until I tried one with no cheese. Avocado is a nice substitute, it adds a similar subtle richness and soft bite, but it never melts, so it doesn't make that weird texture thing happen. Plus, it is good for you.

Thanks Tilli!!! The next time I'm out for breakfast, I'm going to try one without the cheese and see if that's what it is that gets on my nerves. Funny thing is, when I make quiche, I have cheese in it, but it doesn't bother me. Totally baffled by my own behavior! lol
