nice lol! later on I'm going to have one. What beer do you like? I like Coors Light.
I'm drinking Water
How bout that, Coors Light has been my favorite for many years but I'm now drinking their alternative Keystone Light!! Which I must say I now prefer to Coors Light!! Who'd a thunk!! That's what Coors gets for jacking you around on prices and container sizes and such!! It's a big ugly industry!! But I like my beer!!
Throw away the white part, technically the pith. It is bitter and has no flavor. Same for oranges and limes.
Never made a lemon smoothie. Please share the recipe.
Well, I must admit I cheated a little...and used some packaged stuff. But what exactly is in that package if you're adding it to juice of two lemons, water (I used milk instead--for a smoothie) and 8 or 9 1 oz. ice cubes? You could probably do without the package altogether. Unless it helps thicken the drink. I'll have to see what it contains next time I see it--probably corn starch or gum agar or (unflavored) gelatin and artificial flavors and colors.
12 oz milk, the aforementioned ice cubes, and I used the pulp of the lemons also--why let it go to waste? As long as you get the seeds out before adding it. Beat (pretty high speed...in fact, I used the "icebreaker" setting) for one minute. On the blender here, you can only "pulse", it won't stay on once you release the button. But I was holding it in for a good 10 to 15 seconds at a time.
Again, I'll have to find out what was in that package that you really needed it for, so you can add a couple tablespoons of that.
