Bringing a very simple dessert to a workplace potluck. There will be other desserts along with a moderate meal for the staff. What are some cute ideas for presentation that are simple and not expensive? A special way to cut them? Don't really like the lacey doilies. Maybe a colorful decorative paper base on a plate or what?

The event will be at the end of this week - a holiday/birthday theme gathering taking place at lunchtime in a conference room, nothing fancy. Thanks!

A tasty treat like that is enticing all by itself.

A nice simple white porcelain plate, with maybe some whole peanuts in the shell around the edges, and some chocolate shavings on top to advertise what is in them?

I will volunteer to sample them for you.

Diamond cuts instead of squares? Topped with a sprinkle of finely chopped peanuts? I assume they're chocolate topped?
