I make marzipan figures for my littlest sister, who loves all kinds of marzipan. I make it from almond flour.

I also make rum balls, which seem to be popular with everyone. I used to make a big cookie platter for DH to take to work each year and the rum balls were always the first to be eaten.

No, the ones I make are made with vanilla wafer crumbs, finely chopped nuts, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and enough rum and corn syrup to hold it all together in balls. You can dip them in chocolate or just roll them in cocoa powder or powdered sugar.

love to give home made cookies, and spiced nuts. Also I usually bake a lot of friendship bread, but this year because we have been so busy, have 1 12 day cruise coming up and company for Thanksgiving I think I will skip the breads or make only a few. I also love to give 6 cheese cheese ball. If you like cheese it is yummy, but omg, if you don't, stay away!!! I love to receive See's Candy; the best there is!!!gbrivinsklovip it. I p it. ;pi

DH had cravings for those and called his mother for the recipe. He got the measurements mixed up and used cup instead of spoon for the rum. So we had to make up with the other ingredients and had rum balls galore:>)
