The Arby's around here in Palm Beach County give you so much meat on the sandwich that it's about ridiculous....you can eat the sandwich (yes, sandwich, not "burger") and then sit there shoveling down the remaining huge pile of meat. The potato cakes are always *spectacular*!
I load it up with the Arby's BBQ sauce and the Horsey sauce - both at once - 'til it's oozing out...whatta mess
Sorry to hear that Arby's in other regions may not be so great.
Location: I never said I was perfect so no refunds here sorry!

Hey I am also a giant fan of the horsey sauce with horseradish sauce....now that there is some good stuff
I have always found Arby's to be very generous with the roast beef on their sandwiches.
I agree, got the $5.01 au jus combo and was pleasantly satisfied with more than enough roast beef on my sandwich. I also came back with my receipt for a free classic roast beef sandwich, and was actually surprised by how thickly the beef was stacked on the roll. Thumbs up from me!
Remember folks that every Arby's is under a different management. It is highly possible, depending on the one you go to, to have varying experiences. (like with everything in life)
Apparently managers in Texas are stingy... Posters are describing hoagies, burgers, sandwiches that are totally different from what we get here.....Serious discrepancy They're not $10.00 a piece on the east coast are they??

Some of our sandwiches get pricey but not $10.00 no.
I've eaten at Arby's across the US, while on trips and such (for some reason, our go-to restaurant on the road, even though it's fast food, is Arby's) and the sandwiches have also had plenty of beef.
I do have to say that my favorite is the Chicken Salad sandwich. It's so huge there are no sides required :0)
Our Arbys make several different sized sandwiches. Some you need to look under the pickle, some you can see some meat and some over flow. Sort of like GM building Cadillac cars and Corvairs. Those piled high sandwiches are almost as much as a balanced all you can eat buffet meal.
