I will need a button but I also need one for my dear husband: "I Love My Foodie" and my kids: "My Mom is a Foodie".

I don't mind the term foodie and I'm not one, tho, I do appreciate some finer foods. I won't try a lot of things, specifically bugs or land animals. But, it seems like an innocuous word from where I sit.

OP, maybe this will help you clarify (apparently for yourself, as well): what other term would you prefer be used that has the same meaning?

<Raises hand in back of room>

My name is Redbird and I am a foodie. Can I have an XXL button, please?

I like the word foodie. It makes me hungry. HEY! Foodie! Sup! PER!

It's a "made-up" word. Just because someone came up with it, doesn't mean I happen to like it. I wasn't the one to start this thread, I'm just agreeing that I don't like the term. I guess that makes me a "meanie". lol

Oh, honey, they're ALL made up words, didn't you know that? Again, which word would you prefer be used to convey the same meaning?
