The wife and I will be in Fort Collins over the MLK weekend, was wondering if folks here had any recommendations for good BBQ restaurants in the area.
Thanks, Nick

I like Serious Texas BBQ in north Loveland, and Hog Wild on Link Lane in Fort Collins. Moe's on College is also pretty good.

I have never been to the ones Mike listed.. I would like to try them at some point. We are very fond of Nordy's BBQ and we visit at least 2-3 times a month.. They have a location in downtown Ft Collins as well as one North of Ft Collins near the Budweiser Event center. Only one I did not like was Famous Dave's which we tried a few days after it opened which is also in Ft Collins... We were not impressed then however, I have not been back to give it another chance.

Enjoy your visit..

Serious Texas is the way to go! FoCo has the only location outside of Durango. It's a little out of town though.

I was always amazed that a place so renowned for ranching and beef has such little to offer in regards to BBQ.
